Where they are ahead of us
They are much bigger than us and their parcel network is far wider. If that is the requirement, it is what they have and we do not.

Stocked, not just accessed
Their compartments are empty until a carrier fills them. Ours are stocked with inventory chosen for the building, and restocked against what residents actually consume.
An operating relationship, not an installation
The recurring work in our model is purchasing, replenishment, cleaning and curation. A parcel locker's recurring work is mostly maintenance and carrier access.
Both commercial models are published
Including the one where Lentra funds and owns everything and pays the property rent for the footprint. Quadient does not publish its commercial terms for building installations.
Built around occasional need
The economic argument is that a hundred households need the same drill on different afternoons. Nothing in a parcel product is organised around that.

Parcel volume is the problem, you want a name with a large European footprint, or you want access to an open network rather than a building-specific installation.

The problem is what residents need rather than what has been delivered to them. As with any parcel product, the two coexist and are frequently installed in the same lobby run.
